Maintain Eclipse WTP standards while utilizing MyEclipse technology
MyEclipse Standard Edition Feature
MyEclipse includes support for the project structure of the Eclipse Web Tools Platform. Many companies are standardized on this project structure, and development shops utilizing WTP can now also take advantage of MyEclipse features without violating corporate standards or legacy code.
Importing WTP Projects
Web, EJB and EAR projects created in the IDEs based on
Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP)
can now be used in MyEclipse IDE.
Users can use the "Enhance WTP Project..." action in MyEclipse menu on the main
menu or project pop-up menu to configure the project for compatibility with
MyEclipse IDE. MyEclipse will replace the project's targeted runtime and
libraries. All MyEclipse features can be used with these projects - including
extensive support for JEE frameworks, deployment, debugging, etc.
WTP projects can be added to the workspace using the new import wizard.
